Nevada Street Apartments is a Senior Citizens Housing Complex located in Newark, NJ designed to provide housing for low to moderate income citizens, 62 years of age or older, handicapped or disabled.

The complex is under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency and is subsidized under the Section 8 Program through the US Dept. of H.U.D
The Apartments
Nevada Street Apartments contains 306 apartments:36 efficiencies and 269 one-bedroom units. 18 handicapped apartments and 18 adapted for wheelchair.

All apartments are furnished with refrigerators electric ranges, kitchen exhaust fans, vinyl flooring, window shades, emergency call system, smoke detectors and air conditioning unit sleeves.

All public areas are barrier free and handicap accessible.
